Start off your Christmas season with festivities taking place in Syracuse, Nebraska! 

December 2nd, Sunday
Noon – 4:00pm: Christmas Tour of Homes

3:30pm – 5:00pm: Cookies and Coffee will be served at the Syracuse United Methodist Church Women, 6th & Chestnut Streets

5:30pm: Living Nativity in Downtown Syracuse, sponsored by the Syracuse Ministerial Committee

December 4th, Tuesday, Tannenbaum Festival
4:00 – 7:00pm: There are lots of activities to participate in this year! The schedule is still a work in progress but here is a peek at some of the fun things that will be happening –

4:00 – 7:00pm German Christmas Market on 5th Street vendors with home-made goods and artisan pieces will be downtown at Midland & 5th Streets. Commercial vendors will be in the FirstBank of Nebraska basement. Contact Melissa Juilfs for more information.

4:00 – 6:00pm Childrens’ Crafts – Syracuse Public Library

Christmas House Lighting Contests – pick up your registration form at the Added Touch.

4:00pm – 6:00pm Santa at the Syracuse Public Library

Christmas Lighted Tractors

Wine Tasting at the Beer Stein by Rich Harvest Winery & Vineyard and at the Safehouse Winery, both on 5th Street, downtown

Business Open Houses – extended hours

5:00pm – 6:30pm: Chili Supper sponsored by the Syracuse United Methodist Church Women, 6th & Chestnut Streets

4:30pm Hayrack rides & hot chocolate sponsored by AJ’s Coffeehouse (not a Chamber sponsored activity)

Conclude the festivities with the Tree Lighting at dusk right in the middle of downtown Syracuse!

Bronze – $50 – $100 (name on banner)
Silver – $100 – $150 (name on banner plus 2 mentions on Facebook)
Gold – $200+ (name on banner, 3 mentions on Facebook, name on directional signs)
