Syracuse Area Chamber of Commerce

The Syracuse Area Chamber of Commerce is a network of local business owners, managers, and employees working together to support and strengthen our local economy. By sharing ideas and collaborating, we help bring more people into Syracuse businesses and create opportunities for growth. New members and fresh ideas are always welcome.

Our membership includes a diverse mix of businesses—from small, family-run operations to larger employers with over 100 team members. The Chamber’s Board of Directors works closely with the Syracuse Area Economic Development Corporation (SAEDC) to support existing businesses and help attract new businesses that will benefit the community.

As a volunteer-led organization, the Chamber also plans and promotes community events that give people a reason to visit Syracuse, shop locally, and experience all our town has to offer. Annual events organized by the Chamber include Tannenbaum, Germanfest, and Citywide Garage Sales—celebrations that bring our community together and showcase why Syracuse is a great place to live, work, and do business. For information on additional community events and activities, please visit the City of Syracuse website.
