GermanFest - Saturday & Sunday, July 9-10

Join the Celebration of German Heritage in Syracuse, Nebraska!

A few of the activities include the Viener Dog Races, Viener Vogue style show, KinderFun, inflatable games, craft and food vendors, parade, RibFest, watermelon feed, 2-block beer garden and street dance. A community-wide church service and a golf tournament will be held on Sunday. Little Miss GermanFest Contest - 6:00 p.m.
If you have a daughter that would love to hold the title of "Little Miss GermanFest", this is her chance! Little Miss GermanFest is open to participants that will be entering 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade this coming fall. We ask that the contestants wear a German-type costume or dress during the pageant, however this is not part of the judging criteria. It's a fun pageant and we encourage you to bring the whole family to watch! REGISTRATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JULY 1 - Information & Application

Abendessen German Meal - Immediately following the Little Miss GermanFest Contest
Give your family the experience of enjoying a traditional German meal at the Syracuse Senior Center facility! Arrive at 6:00 p.m. to enjoy the Little Miss GermanFest Contest before the meal. Tickets can be purchased after June 25th in Syracuse, NE at Do It Best Hardware, Added Touch Flowers & Gifts, AJ's Coffee House & Southeast Cellular.
